How to Delete a Comment on Instagram
Even if social media is immortal, a comment with a typo or one that you later regret sharing does not have to be remembered if you don’t want it to be remembered.
On Instagram, you have the ability to remove comments you’ve posted on other people’s posts as well as comments others have left on your own posts. You may also choose to hide specific categories of comments or to prevent particular persons from leaving comments on your articles.
Here’s how to do the task.

How to Hide Comments on your Instagram posts
It is possible to hide particular types of comments or remarks from specific persons on Instagram using a few different options. Here’s how to utilize them.
1. Log in to your Instagram account using the Instagram app on your iPhone or Android device.
2. The profile page may be accessed by tapping your profile symbol in the bottom-right area of the app.
3. Select the three horizontal lines symbol in the top-right corner of your profile page by tapping it.

4. From the pop-up menu, choose Settings.

5. On the Settings tab, go to the Privacy section.

6. On the Privacy page, tap Comments.

7. The Comment Controls page offers a number of options for hiding comments, each of which is described below. When you’re in the Filters area, slide the button next to Hide Insulting Comments to the right to hide all comments that Instagram deems unsuitable, such as those that are offensive, bullying, or spam. Additionally, you may swipe the button next to Hide More Remarks to provide an additional filter to comments that may be considered unsuitable.
You may also hide comments that include certain words or phrases by swiping the button next to Manual Filter — simply input the words or phrases in the textbox that displays when you swipe the button. It is possible to enable or disable features by selecting the appropriate button colour: blue for enabled features and grey for disabled features.

8. To conceal block comments from certain people, go to the Comment Controls page and choose Block Comments From from the drop-down menu at the top. Use the search field on the next screen to enter the name of a user from whom you do not want comments to be allowed.

Once you’ve located the person, select Block from the drop-down menu next to their name. This will not prevent them from leaving comments on your posts, but just their comments on your posts will be blocked. Whenever you block someone’s comments, just that person’s remarks will be visible to them, and they will be unaware that you have banned their comments.
The option to View Hidden Comments will appear beneath your post if an Instagram remark has been hidden for any reason, such as because it was judged objectionable or because it was posted by a previously blocked user. To see a hidden comment, select Unhide from beneath it. If you don’t see the View Hidden Comments option, it means that Instagram hasn’t hidden any comments from your viewing.
