How to Clear Your Twitter Search History
If you search for something on Twitter, the site will remember what you were looking for so that you may find it more easily the next time you search for it, in case you ever want to look at it again. Twitter uses the content of your search history to help develop a profile of you, which it then uses to provide suggestions to you about further content that it thinks you might enjoy or find useful. Delete your search history if you discover that your preferences have shifted and you no longer wish to be presented with recommendations that are derived from your previous search terms. This is a straightforward solution.
You could also find it helpful to clear out the clutter in your search bar by periodically erasing your search history and starting again. The following is a guide that will walk you through clearing your search history on Twitter, regardless of the motivation for your desire to do so.
