How Romance works in Cyberpunk 2077

In Cyberpunk 2077, you can have relationships, flings, and one-night stands with joytoys worldwide. You can also engage in one-night stands with other players in the open world. Before you begin playing Cyberpunk 2077, there are a few things that are crucial for you to understand up front:

• The choices you make at the very beginning of the game regarding V’s physical type and voice tones (male or female) will affect the romance possibilities offered to you later in the game.
• Relationships in the game are unaffected by the choices players make in their lives.
• There are two committed relationships available for male V and two committed relationships for female V, in addition to one casual relationship open to either gender. Act 2 is the stage for developing all romances except the fling.
• Being in a romantic partnership increases the likelihood of a character’s appearance in the game’s final epilogue.
• You are only allowed to be in one relationship at a time, but, depending on your physical type, you may only have one or two potential partners to choose from regarding your V.
• You are not allowed to have romantic feelings towards Johnny Silverhand. (With the obvious exception if you have certain mods…)

To progress with any available romantic relationships, you must complete a series of optional quests and then make a series of decisions within those quests; some of these decisions are more challenging than others. Suppose you want a romantic relationship with a character without giving anything away.

In that case, you need to make sure that you connect with that character, that your values are aligned with theirs, and that you choose dialogue options that act positively toward them. Aside from that, we have detailed step-by-step explanations scattered across the page for each character.

There appears to be some ambiguity about how to achieve the happy ending with Judy, as opposed to the various unsatisfactory outcomes that many gamers are experiencing. The deciding factor is how you decide to “deal with” Johnny Silverhand in the game’s final main objective.

If you want Panam and her family to join your fight against Arasaka, you’ll need to finish all of her objectives and side tasks before starting the ultimate quest. This is how to solve Johnny while preserving V’s body. Following this line of thought will allow you to take your romantic relationship with Judy beyond the confines of Night City, leading to a much happier conclusion.

Cyberpunk 2077 romance: Panam Palmer

You’ll meet Panam Palmer, a former Nomad, on several tasks that take you into the Badlands outside Night City. You’d better be built like a man if you want to woo her. After speaking with Rogue at the Afterlife bar during your search for one Anders Hellman, you’ll begin Act 2 and the major story mission related to Panam, Ghost Town. During the Riders On The Storm quest, choose every “Touch” option you come across, and don’t worry if you’re turned down. Sometimes it works out like this. Pick every “Touch” or “Scrooch Closer” dialogue option available while supporting Panam throughout the With a Little Help from My Friends and Queen of the Highway optional job tasks. The second task gives you the chance to kiss her. It’s hard to miss, as a large kiss icon is displayed next to the correct option. When you’ve completed the mission, give her another kiss and tell her how much you appreciate her support.

Panam romance good ending

Don’t worry if you have no idea what to do to reach the greatest possible ending with Panam (including the dialogues during the mid-credits scene). It’s the same answer you’d use to ensure a happy finish with Judy. If given the option, you should accept Panam and the Aldecaldos’ assistance on the first of the finishing missions. If you’ve been courting Panam, you’ll already have done this, as it requires completing every quest involving Panam up to and including Queen of the Highway.

If you go with this route, you’ll get a sweet send-off from Panam and the gang before the credits roll and an unexpected phone call from her explaining that she’ll be late home because of a sandstorm but is grateful to have you waiting for her. This is the best possible conclusion because it demonstrates that your friendship with Panam endures even after the game has ended.

Cyberpunk 2077 romance: River Ward

During the Cyberpunk 2077 Act 2 side quest, I Fought The Law, V initially encounters River Ward, a detective of the NCPD. You’ll need a female form if you want to woo him. I Battled V, must look into the circumstances behind the death of the former mayor of Night City for the Law side quest.

You’ll encounter River here; it turns out he’s also looking into the mayor’s killing. When you select “I can see what you’re doin’.” while gazing out over the river, the option “Just don’t fall in love…” will appear. You can then kiss him to initiate a sexual encounter with him. River will want to know your thoughts on the experience the following day. In this case, the ultimate decision is what counts. If you say “[Kiss] Yes.” to River, your connection with her will become more serious.

River Romance good ending

River’s “good ending” isn’t as cut and dry as it was for Judy or Panam. Trusting Arasaka with the last assignment and heading back to Earth when presented with the opportunity in the epilogue is your best bet to witness a somewhat joyful (albeit admittedly melancholy) conclusion between him and V. The “Path of Glory” ending, accessed by sending Johnny and Rogue on the final mission and telling Johnny to cross the bridge at the end, also features an appearance from River in the epilogue. However, it’s a much gloomier and less romantic conclusion for V and River.

Cyberpunk 2077 romance: Kerry Eurodyne

Kerry Eurodyne, a former member of Johnny Silverhand’s band Samurai, remains active and largely unchanged in V’s timeline. You’ll need a macho voice and physique to woo him. Finding Kerry in Cyberpunk 2077 begins with completing the Chippin’ In and Blistering Love side objectives with Rogue and Johnny. When you finally catch up with Kerry in the present day, you can start the Holdin’ On quest.

A series of side quests involving Kerry will become available, starting with Second Conflict, then A Like Supreme, and finally Rebel!. Rebel!. The conclusion of that adventure will prompt your first major decision. When Kerry eventually sends you a text, your response should be, “Who doesn’t like explosions and races, right?”

In the final quest, Boat Drinks, you can strengthen your friendship with Kerry. The menu aboard Kerry’s yacht includes the following selections:

• “Let’s rip the whole fuckin’ boat apart.”
• “[Help Kerry]”
• “[Kiss]”

This chain of decisions will lead to an extraordinary sex scene in which V and Kerry engage in sexual activity while the yacht is on fire. Then, back on the beach, when the time is right, select the “Hug” option to initiate a longer-term friendship with him.

Kerry romance good ending

Kerry’s “good” ending, like River’s, is more subdued than those with the game’s female love interests. To see Kerry in the epilogue, just make the same decisions you do to earn one of River’s “good” endings. V and Kerry’s best and most romantic solution is to trust Arasaka in the final mission and return to Earth when given the chance in the epilogue. The “Path of Glory” epilogue has Kerry if you send Johnny and Rogue on the final mission and tell Johnny to cross the bridge, but it’s much more depressing and hopeless for V and Kerry.

Cyberpunk 2077 romance: Meredith Stout

You’ll be introduced to Corpo executive Meredith Stout early on in Cyberpunk 2077’s primary plot. Any physical appearance or vocal tone will do, as far as Meredith is concerned, albeit “romance” may be pushing it.

Before entering the Maelstrom gang’s lair in The Pickup, you can phone her and strike a bargain. It is completely optional to take the money chip she offers. No need to attack her security detail though.

When you have completed this mission, she will SMS you and you should reply, “Shame.” I find myself like you more and more. She’ll suggest a spot to meet. Assure her, “I’ll be there.” The next step is to visit the location, where you and Meredith will engage in sexual activity. That’s the complete extent of our romantic possibilities.

Cyberpunk 2077 romance: Rogue Amendiares

Afterlife nightclub owner and Johnny Silverhand ex-lover Rogue Amendiares. V gets to relive many of Johnny’s former romances while they travels together, but his affair with Rogue is unique for a few reasons. Most importantly, the romantic subplot with Rogue is easy to miss if you aren’t paying close enough attention. It’s a nice touch that these ex-lovers get to spend some time together again, and it happens within the game’s timeframe rather than in flashbacks.

Rogue’s fling can be unlocked by completing the Chippin’ In side quest and selecting “The guy who saved my life” when prompted. As a result, V and Johnny strengthen their friendship, and Blistering Love, a romantic side-mission for Rogue, becomes available.

Once you’re in this mission, all you have to do to complete Rogue’s romance path is play through to the conclusion and accept the kiss when prompted to do so.
