How to Pair Beats Headphones

Published

If you’ve just purchased a new set of Beats headphones, you’ll want to start listening to your new headphones as soon as possible. The unfortunate reality is that buying new headphones requires starting again with the pairing process.

Fortunately, matching Beats is a piece of cake. They work in the same way as any other Bluetooth headphones, so you can link them with any other device just as easily. Beats may be simply connected to your smartphone or computer through Bluetooth. Simply ensure that you are in close proximity to the device to which you wish to connect them, and that Bluetooth is enabled on that specific device.

How to Pair Beats headphones with a Computer or Mobile device

1. Turn on your Beats headphones. If this is the first time they’ve ever been turned on, they should be in pairing mode automatically. If not, you’ll need to activate pairing mode.

  • Solo Pros: Press and hold the “mode” button on the left earcup. This is also the button you’ll use to turn noise cancelling on and off.
  • Studio3 and Solo3 Wireless: Press and hold the power button for five seconds until the five lights underneath flash.
  • Beats Flex: Press and hold the power button until the indicator light flashes.
  • Powerbeats: Press and hold the button on the left earbud until the indicator light flashes.
  • Powerbeats Pro: Place the earbuds in their case and leave the case open, and then press and hold the button inside the case until the light outside blinks.

2. Place your Beats headphones next to your device, ensuring sure that your device is unlocked first.

3. Navigate to the Bluetooth menu on your device. On an iPhone or Android smartphone, you’ll find this in the Settings application. On a computer or a Mac, you may locate it by performing a search for it.

4. Your phone or computer will look for any nearby devices that are ready to link with your phone or computer in step 4. When your Beats show, just click or press on them to begin connecting with your device. If you’re prompted for a passcode, type “0000” into the box.

Additionally, if you’re using a new iPhone, there’s a potential that your iPhone may identify the Beats immediately after they’ve been turned on and will ask whether you’d like to connect.

Why won’t my Beats pair to my phone?

Check to check that both your Beats product and your Bluetooth device are fully charged and operational before continuing. Why is my Beats headphones not connecting to Bluetooth?

Update the firmware on your computer. It’s only feasible for desktops and Android devices, because iOS devices, like as iPhones and iPods, automatically download and install the latest Beats. If your Beats firmware is out of current, you may have difficulties while attempting to utilize your headphones. To obtain the most recent firmware update, download it using the Beats app for Android.
