Samsung Galaxy to Add Wide Angle Lens in the Triple Camera Setup of its New Phones

Samsung Galaxy has changed the perspective of smartphone users by becoming the biggest Android OS brand in the world. Though Apple has always made Samsung’s business difficult by filing a couple of big lawsuits against it, it never came in the way of Korean technology giant. The two of its most famous series are Galaxy Note and Galaxy S-series. One of the Note series ‘Samsung Galaxy Note 9’ phone is launching on 9th of August. While the new line of S-series smartphone has already been making its place in the rumor mill. Rumors have that the new Galaxy S10 series will make the debut in the early months of 2019. Also, people can witness S10 to be equipped with triple cameras following the lead of Huawei.

A wide-angle camera on the rear, among the 3 cameras setup may be introduced in the new S10 smartphone, following the lead of LG G7. This could mean one thing, that S10 may become the first smartphone ever to feature 5 camera package. The two front-facing cameras may be added due to the facial recognition feature and portrait mode selfies. The 2 of the high-end models among the 3 that Samsung has plans for will have one 12MP standard camera of dual aperture, one 13MP longer focal length camera and one 16MP wide-angle camera.
The company has 3 sets lined up for the S10 series which include Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10 Plus having codenames Beyond 1 and Beyond 2 respectively. The third set in the series will a less expensive variant given the codename Beyond 0, this will only have dual cameras in the back. The dual aperture lens will be extended to all 3 variants of the Galaxy S10.
All the big smartphone giants are currently working on the 3-camera mounted on the back, and this list also includes Apple as well. The users may expect to see triple lens comprising of 5X zoom and 3D sensing in 2019 iPhones
