How to Get Disney Plus on Your Apple TV

Published

You can watch everything on Disney Plus on your Apple TV, from “The Mandalorian” to the very first adaptation of “Alice in Wonderland.” Disney Plus provides something for fans of all ages to enjoy. However, if you want to stream Disney Plus over Apple TV, the Apple TV device you use will need to be of the fourth generation or later.

In addition to this, you will be required to sign up for a subscription on the Disney Plus website, which may be done for a cost of either $6.99 per month or $69.99 per year (you can also get a 7-day free trial).

After downloading the Disney Plus app, you can follow the instructions displayed on-screen to join up for the service through the App Store and make payments using your existing iTunes account. However, if you sign up for an account on the website ahead of time, you will be able to begin streaming media in a far shorter amount of time.

Here’s how to get Disney Plus installed on your Apple TV after you’ve signed up for a membership to the service.

FAQs

Why can’t I find App Store on Apple TV?

If there is no App Store on your Apple TV, you most likely have a model of Apple TV that is older than the third generation. On Apple TVs of the third generation or earlier, there is no App Store; consequently, there is no icon for the App Store on the Home screen.

Can you add apps to Apple TV 3rd generation?

The Apple TV 3, in contrast to other streaming media players such as the Apple TV 4, Roku, and Amazon FireTV, will only receive new applications at Apple’s discretion. It is not possible to manually add new applications. You won’t be able to find apps like BBC iPlayer and Amazon Video, amongst a great many others, on the Apple TV 3 until Apple decides to include them.
