How to Hide a Google Slide
If you have ever used Google Slides to produce a presentation, then you are aware that one of the reasons the programme is so popular is that it provides users with a wide variety of alternatives from which to select. However, no of how amazing the presentations you build with it can be, there are almost certainly going to be some slides that you don’t require. You could just delete them, but if the presentation is still being worked on, you never know when you might need those slides again. So it’s best to keep them around just in case.
It’s possible that you’d like to get rid of a slide that involves research or sources in order to shorten the amount of time allotted for the presentation, but you’d like to maintain the content of the slide for your own use. Whatever the case may be, you are in luck because there is a simple technique to conceal a slide in a Google Slides presentation without completely erasing it from the presentation. This indicates that the slide won’t appear when you push play on the slideshow, despite the fact that it will still be visible in the overview of the presentation. The procedure is as follows.

How to Hide Slides in Google Slides
1. Start your presentation on either your Mac or your personal computer and, when it has loaded, select the slide that you want to hide by clicking on it.
2. Select “Skip slide” from the context menu that appears after you right-click on it.
You should notice an icon that resembles an eye that has been crossed out if everything went according to plan; the presentation will conceal any slides that have the icon on them if it is present on those slides.
To make the slide visible once more, all that is required is to just repeat the actions that were taken previously. When you first select the “Skip slide” option, there will be a check mark in that location. However, when you click it a second time, the check mark will be erased.

Why can’t I hide a slide in Google Slides?
Select the slide you want to conceal from the slide navigation pane on the left side of the screen in Google Slides. This is the first step in hiding a slide. Which actions unhide a slide?
If a slide is hidden from view, the thumbnail for that slide will have a lighter colour scheme than the thumbnails for the other slides in the presentation. If there comes a time when you need to look at the slide once more, you can quickly unhide it by right-clicking it and selecting “Show Slide” from the context menu that appears. During the course of the presentation, the slide will be displayed once again at some time.
