What is a Nether Stone?

Invasion Mode’s fire walls must be broken through with the special key item, the Nether Stone. All of the skins and other awards that are concealed behind these walls will remain unattainable without this equipment. As of now, Mortal Kombat 1 has just one Nether Stone, and Scorpion is the only one who can obtain it.

How to Get Nether Stone

After taking down the upgraded Scorpion, the last monster of the last Mesa in season 1, you will receive the Nether Stone as payment. To get to Scorpion, you’ll have to pass through every Mesa in the first season of Invasion as well as the whole Fire Temple.

When approaching a region that has been closed off by fire, the Nether Stone is automatically employed. To obtain every prize in Season 1’s first Invasion mode, be sure to revisit each Mesa, finishing every room and searching for every wall of fire.
