Trios is making a comeback in Fortnite, but with a new twist
As per the most recent announcement made by Epic Games, the Fortnite Trios mode is once again available. The mode had been eliminated by the developer of the video game with the v24.40 patch. Despite the fact that the update included a new Ranked Mode, many players were dissatisfied with the fact that it eliminated Trios. The developers were forced to listen to user feedback, and as a result, the three-player game mode has been reinstated. However, it is essential to keep in mind that Trios will only be available in non-competitive game types when it returns. This should not come as a surprise given that the Ranked Mode has a cap on the number of players on each team.
The good news is that there is a chance that Epic Games will include Trios in the Ranked Mode at some point in the future. It is important to keep in mind that the new game mode is still in its first stages of development, which means that Epic Games may make adjustments to it in the future. Many players felt that the v24.40 patch was one of the most problematic patches. Even though the addition of the Ranked Mode was a smart choice, not very many casual gamers were interested in it. As a result of the removal of the Trios game mode by Epic Games, three-player teams were required to either play the Squads game mode with three players or recruit a new member to join their squad.
As a result of this inconvenience, several players have requested that the Trios mode be brought back by the creators. The Fortnite Battle Royale game did not launch with the Trios mode included. It was initially implemented for Ranked Modes before transitioning into a more permanent role. Despite the fact that a significant number of people were still using it, Epic Games decided to eliminate it since they probably believed it to be the least popular mode.
As was previously stated, the three-player team option is only accessible within the non-competitive playlists of the game. This shouldn’t come as a surprise given that the ranking version of the Zero Build mode can only be played in Duos, while the other three modes can only play the ranked version of the Battle Royale game. The encouraging news is that Epic takes into consideration the suggestions and demands made by the Fortnite community. As a result, there is a possibility that the Trios mode will eventually be introduced to the Ranked Mode.
