List of Pokémon Go’s Crackling Voltage Research Quests and Their Rewards
As Electric-Pokémon swarm under Crackling Voltage, the Pokémon Go community is currently experiencing its final event of the month of January and its first event of the month of February. In addition, even though the content might not be very lengthy, there are some new research assignments and incentives for players to complete. Shiny Helioptile, Shiny Heliolisk, and Shiny Tapu Koko were introduced into the game for the very first time during this event. However, there is also a great deal of other content that can be accessed from the 27th of January until the 5th of February, including an increased likelihood of coming across a Shiny Helioptile.
This event will run until the 5th of February. Included in this content is the Team Go Rocket Takeover, which is scheduled to start on February 1st. It will take place during the second half of the Crackling Voltage event, and it will also introduce new Shadow Pokémon, like as Alolan Vulpix, Spoink, Blitzle, and Joltik. During that portion of the event, players will see Team Go Rocket appear more frequently at PokéStops and in balloons, and Giovanni will appear with Shadow Registeel for the first time. Players will be able to catch Giovanni’s Shadow Registeel until the release of the Mythical Wishes content for season nine of Pokémon Go on March 1.
Even though this is a longer event, Niantic has not added a Timed Research or a Special Research for the Crackling Voltage event that is the basis of the challenge. Because of this, the only new research tasks and awards connected to that segment of the event are those associated with Field Research, which can be obtained from PokéStops and Gyms. It might not be spectacular, but this Field Research has the potential to earn you some unusual encounters with Pokémon that you won’t see very frequently, so here is how you can accomplish all of the tasks and claim each prize.
All Crackling Voltage Field Research tasks and rewards:
Catch five Pokémon
- Plusle encounter
- Minun encounter
Power up a Pokémon three times
- Voltorb encounter
- Hisuian Voltorb encounter
Power up a Pokémon five times
