Fans will find many of these Shards as they travel across the game’s five territories, but some may be more difficult to track down. Assassins Creed Mirage: All Mysterious Shards Location

There are 10 Mysterious Shards to find; 2 can be found in each of the 5 zones that make up the cities and 2 can be found in the desert that surrounds the cities. To acquire each Mysterious Shard, one must either secretly pickpocket it from its owner among the Tha’abeen or simply kill them. This will also help with Nehal’s “The Calling” investigative case.

As all the Mysterious Shard holders are nomadic, you may not find them in the same locations as I did. Here are some maps depicting the broad area where I located each shard. Use your compass and map to keep tabs on them always; the Mysterious Shard icon should display when you’re within 100 meters.

Harbiyah Shard 1: Location at Harbiyah, outside the Damascus Gate, in the Quadrangle of the Persians.

Harbiyah Shard 2: Towards the eastern Khuld section of Harbiyah, close to the Upper Harbor.

Abbasiyah Shard 1: Towards the east side of Abbasiyah, in the Kahtabah suburb, close to the Four Markets.

Abbasiyah Shard 2: Located in the Fief of Rayasanah neighborhood of Karhk, to the southwest of the Tax Collector’s Mansion. The arch marks the boundary between Karhk’s fief territory and Abbasiyah’s Haylanah district.

Karhk Shard 1: In the Tabik neighborhood of Karhk, next to the west gate of the Bazaar.

Khark Shard 2: Northeast of the Confiscation Warehouse and northwest of the Sharqiyah Gate, via a scaffolding archway. The arch marks the boundary between the Karhk neighborhoods of Sharqiyah and Tabik.

Round City Shard 1: Near the northernmost lookout and the Mazalim Courts, in the Round City’s administrative district.

Round City Shard 2: Towards the southwest corner of the Round City, close to the Kufa Gate. The Tha’abeen member should be close to the gate road that leads northeast to the main palace.

Wilderness Shard 1: Across the bridge in Anbar’s western region. Located north of the ‘Aqarquf Dunes, Anbar is a province in northwest Iraq.

Wilderness Shard 2: South-Southeast of Baghdad, on the western side of the town of Jarjarayah, on the banks of the Tigris River.

Basim now has all the Mysterious Shards, so they may be brought to the hidden temple beneath the Northern Oasis. In that location, you can pick up the unique suit of armor, sword, and dagger that will grant Basim extraordinary abilities, such as confusing lightning bolts and double damage at the cost of lower maximum health.

How to Use Mysterious Shards in Assassin’s Creed Mirage

In Assassin’s Creed Mirage, the Mysterious Shards may only be used in the Secret Chamber, hidden in the desert. The room is part of the ‘The Calling’ quest, which becomes available once the main plot quest ‘Old Wounds’ has been completed. Before that time, however, you can visit the chamber whenever you like to spend your shards.

The Northern Oasis’s Aqarquf Dunes are home to the Secret Chamber’s underwater lair. Below is a map with its precise location highlighted.

A clump of leaves will float on the water’s surface; when you arrive there, dive in and swim till you find them. Basim, turn around so he is facing south from where you are now.

You’ll eventually reach a cave if you keep diving into this giant hole. Turning on Eagle Vision helped immensely as we made our way through the tunnel.

When you reach the cave’s entrance, go straight ahead until you reach a spacious hall. Behold, you’ve entered the Chamber of Secrets.

Now there are three compartments, each with a plinth in front of it, shut off from the rest of the room. Each plinth is labelled with the required number of Mysterious Shards to unlock the hidden reward.

It’s as simple as approaching a plinth, interacting with it to insert the necessary number of shards, and then approaching the newly revealed object. This list details everything you can buy and how many shards it will cost you to do so.
