The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 CPU, 8 gigabytes of random access memory (RAM), and 128/256 gigabytes of internal storage space will reportedly be included in the foldable phone.

On the outside of the Galaxy Z Flip 5, there is rumoured to be a 12MP (F1.8) + 12MP (F2.2) camera, while on the inside, there is rumoured to be a 10MP (F2.4) selfie camera. The main display of the Galaxy Z Fold 5 is claimed to be 7.6 inches in size and have a resolution of 2,176 by 1,812 pixels along with a variable refresh rate ranging from 1Hz to 120Hz. The resolution of the cover screen is 2,316 by 904 pixels, and the cover screen measures 6.2 inches. Even the cover panel itself has a refresh rate of 120Hz. The handset is rumored to feature a chipset dubbed Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, 12 gigabytes of random access memory (RAM), and either 256 or 512 gigabytes of storage space. It has a water resistance grade of IPX8, which is the highest possible. Out of the box, the phone operates on Android 13 with One UI 5.1.1, which is very similar to what the Galaxy Z Flip 5 offers.
