Cyberpunk 2077: Hasan Choice
The goal of the Gig Prototype in the Scraper, found in Cyberpunk 2077’s Phantom Liberty DLC, is to recover a prototype implant and its corresponding blueprint. In order to finish this assignment, players will have to explore a scavenger lair, look for a passcode, and make a selection. In the mission “Prototype in the Scraper,” you must free a criminal named Hasan from a scavenging den who is in way over his head. Hasan selection in cyberpunk 2077 is discussed in detail here.

Should You Let Hasan Go or Turn Him Over to Zenatech?
You and Hasan will have a discussion across the drawbridge. Your two main options are to either hand Hasan over to Zetatech, where he will very certainly be killed, or to let him to leave with the prototype while you and Mr. Hands keep the plans.
Hasan will give his side of the story, and you’ll have a choice between two paths of dialogue:
- Sending in the repairman. You and Mr. Hands will discuss what to do with Hasan, so there’s no need to make any hasty decisions.
- Hasan may leave now that he knows you’ll say, “We never met, understood?” and you’ll get to keep the blueprints for Mr. Hands.
When you dial Mr. Hands’ number, you’ll be given a third option:
- If Hasan is to be handed over to Zetatech, the option “OK, sending the coordinates” must be selected.
- You can get Hands on your side and convince him to release Hasan if you say, “Grab the implant, but let Hasan go” (after the prototype has been removed, of course).
This decision is entirely fictional. You can either immediately release Hasan or try to persuade Mr. Hands to aid him in his escape. Alternatively, you can hand him over to Zetatech if you’re a monster. The only real distinction is where the blueprints are left. There is no wrong way to wrap up a gig because you always succeed in finishing “Prototype in the Scraper.”
Where to Find Hasan’s Cell Code
You can enter the scav den in a Dogtown scraper (which is a future-speak term for a “skyscraper”) in one of two ways: either stealthily or by shooting your way in. You went there hunting for a prototype that had been stolen, and you’ll find it in the thoughts of a man named Hasan.
The first thing that needs to be done in order to retrieve the prototype and the paperwork for it is to free Hasan from his confinement. You’ll also need an access code in order to do that. To our good fortune, the key is not far away. Check the computer that is located directly behind you at the top of the stairs. The access code can be found in a file that has been thoughtfully named “Codes & Passwords”; the code is 2753.
Hasan will show you the way to the prototype’s underlying blueprints. When you have them in your possession, he will take you out of the hideout by way of a drawbridge.
