GTAV and GTA Online coming to PS5 on March 15
Grand Theft Auto V and Grand Theft Auto Online arrive for PlayStation 5 on March 15 — delivering the action-packed, blockbuster Story Mode adventure and the dynamic, ever-evolving world of GTA Online to PlayStation 5 with a host of improvements for new and returning players.
These new versions of GTAV and GTA Online make the experience richer, more detailed and more immersive than ever with new graphics modes delivering improved fidelity and performance including up to 60 FPS frame rates and 4K visuals plus ray tracing and improved texture quality, as well as utilizing the technical advancements of PlayStation 5 for faster loading times, immersive 3D audio, advanced haptic feedback, and much more.

Customize your gameplay experience by selecting one of three detailed new visual options that are tailored to the things that matter most to you. Fidelity Mode is optimized for the finest visual quality while maintaining a frame rate of 30 frames per second. The PlayStation 5 is capable of supporting native 4K resolution with ray tracing enabled in this mode. Performance Mode has been optimized to provide the most responsive gameplay experience possible while maintaining a frame rate of 60 frames per second. The PlayStation 5 is capable of supporting upscaled 4K resolution in this mode. The PlayStation 5 also has a combination of the Fidelity and Performance modes, which supports upscaled 4K resolution with ray tracing enabled and a target frame rate of 60 frames per second.
Besides that, these updated versions have a number of enhancements across the board, such as faster loading times, a greater diversity of people and traffic, a higher density of vegetation, and enhanced lighting quality across shadows, water reflections, and other aspects. Additionally, better anti-aliasing and motion blur, as well as extremely realistic new explosions, fire, and other effects, are included.
