How to Change Your Name on Zoom Before a Meeting

On the mobile app

1. On your mobile device (iOS or Android), launch the programme, and if prompted to do so, sign in to your account.

2. In the menu that displays in the lower-right hand corner of the screen, select the option labelled “Settings.”

3. Select the banner that displays at the very top of the screen and contains both your name and your email address.

4. Tap Display Name.

5. After adding your desired name and/or display name, tap the Save button to commit your changes.

On the desktop app

1. Launch the application and sign in to your account if prompted to do so.

2. Navigate to the top right corner of the window and click the icon that corresponds to your profile.

3. Select My Profile from the menu that drops down; doing so will cause a pop-up window to be displayed.

4. To the right of your name, you’ll see a button labelled Edit.

5. Type in the name you want to use.

6. Click the Save button.
