How to Get Cloth in Stardew Valley
In Stardew Valley, there are currently no objectives that need the use of fabric; however, it is necessary for a wide variety of crafting recipes. Cloth is required for the creation of clothing, the creation of Dressed Spinner fish lures, the purchase of a mill, and can also be given as gifts to a number of other townsfolk. Emily is a fan favourite and the best romance choice available in Stardew Valley. While there are other non-playable characters (NPCs) that “Like” cloth as a gift, she is the only one who “Loves” cloth.
In Stardew Valley, each and every article of clothing that may be customized requires a single piece of cloth as a prerequisite. The recipes for the various articles of clothing typically call for another object, such as an opal, a fairy stone, or even a cake. These items, when combined with a single piece of fabric, have the potential to produce a variety of colorful and patterned shirts for the players to wear.
Cloth can be gotten from several sources in Stardew Valley, including:
- From putting wool in a Loom
- Recycling Soggy Newspaper in a Recycling Machine
- Loot from Mummies, found in the Skull Cavern
- Gifts from Emily
- Purchased from the Desert Trader of Stardew Valley’s Calico Desert for 3 Aquamarines
How to Get Cloth from a Loom in Stardew Valley
In order for players to begin weaving their own cloth, they will initially need to acquire a loom as well as some wool. This is the best source of fabric because it enables players to cultivate their own at home in the form of Stardew Valley’s farm animals. Consequently, this is the best source of cloth. Sheep and rabbits both develop wool-producing fur that can be shorn every three to four days, with the frequency of shearing being determined by the feeding schedule as well as the emotional state of the animal. To make cloth out of the wool the player has acquired from their animals, they will first need to construct a Loom using the materials they have available.
In order to build a Loom, players will need a few materials:
- Farming Level 7 will give players the Loom recipe
- 60 Wood
- 30 Fiber
- 1 Pine Tar
After being constructed and stuffed with wool, a loom can produce one to two pieces of fabric in a span of four hours. By improving the quality of the wool, players have a better chance of acquiring two pieces of cloth with each spin of the spinner. Farming it with rabbits and sheep will give players the best output, particularly if they can afford to make several looms and keep several animals of each type in their fields. Although the other methods of getting them might help out when trying to get wool and cloth in larger numbers, farming it with rabbits and sheep will give players the best output.
