Sabrent’s new Thunderbolt 3 16TB NVMe SSD Docking Station transforms your PC into a fully functional workstation, all with a single Thunderbolt 3 connection.

Sabrent has just unveiled their new Thunderbolt 3 16TB NVMe SSD Docking Station, which transforms your PC into a full-fledged workstation with a significant amount of power and connection for content makers and power users. The docking station is compatible with Thunderbolt 3 and NVMe SSDs.

A 16TB Sabrent SSD with write speeds of up to 1.5GB/sec (1500MB/sec) is housed within, and with its massive amount of connections, it nearly seems like a more powerful NUC than you could ever want in your living room. You’ll find two Thunderbolt 3 ports with a combined bandwidth of up to 40Gbps, as well as two USB 3.2 Type-A ports and one USB 3.2 Type-C port, each of which have a combined bandwidth of up to 10Gbps.

Along with that, there’s a USB 3.0 Type-A connector with a transfer rate of up to 5Gbps, as well as a BC12 5V@2.4A charger for your smartphone or tablet (and other devices). Sabrent supports DisplayPort 1.4 connection, which is capable of supporting resolutions of up to 8K30 and 5K30 respectively (as well as 4K60 and other lower resolutions). HDR, HDCP 2.2, and VESA Adaptive-Sync are all supported (FreeSync).

In addition to the 1GbE ethernet port, Sabrent also has a front-access 3.5mm audio output and microphone input, as well as an SD (UHS-II) card reader with up to 270MB/s read and write rates, and a USB 2.0 connector. Sabrent’s Thunderbolt 3 16TB NVMe SSD Docking Station is USB Power Delivery (PD) 3.0 capable of delivering up to 96W of power and is available in black or white.
