Published

There are some games that are so ubiquitous, so common, that almost everyone knows how to play them. These games can be found in almost any setting – from the playground to the casino floor.

In this blog post, we will discuss five of these games and teach you how to play them like a pro! Whether you are at a party or just hanging out with friends, these games are always a blast!

Darts

The first game on our list is none other than darts. Darts is a classic game that can be played almost anywhere – all you need is a dartboard and some darts! The objective of the game is to throw your darts at the dartboard and score as many points as possible. Points are scored by landing your dart in specific sections of the board, with the most valuable section being the innermost ring. To play darts, simply take turns throwing your darts at the board – the player with the most points at the end of the game wins!

Poker

Next up is poker. Poker is a card game that has been around for centuries and is still one of the most popular games in existence, especially as technology has helped play a crucial role in helping it become more innovative. The objective of poker is to make the best hand possible using the cards you are dealt. There are many different variants of poker available at Ignition Poker to enjoy, but the most common is Texas Hold ‘Em.

In Texas Hold ‘Em, each player is dealt two cards (known as hole cards) and then five community cards are dealt in the middle of the table. Players then use their hole cards and the community cards to make the best hand possible. The player with the best hand at the end of the game wins!

Monopoly

Monopoly is a classic board game that almost everybody knows how to play. The objective of the game is to become the richest player by buying, selling, and trading properties. Players take turns rolling two dice and moving around the board, with each space on the board representing a different action. Players can buy properties when they land on them, and they must pay rent to the owner of any property that they land on that is already owned. The game ends when one player has all of the money.

UNO

UNO is a popular card game that is perfect for family gatherings, when traveling, or at parties with friends. The objective of UNO is to get rid of all of the cards in your hand by matching them with the card being played. For example, if the card being played is a red seven, you can play any red card or any seven. When you’re down to your last card, you must shout “UNO!” to win the game.

Beer Pong

Last but not least is beer pong. Beer pong is a drinking game that is typically played at parties. The objective of beer pong is to throw a ping pong ball into one of the opponent’s cups – if you make it in, they have to drink the contents of the cup! The first team to clear all of their cups wins the game.

It is a game that is rather versatile as you can use any form of beverage you wish and is not strictly limited to alcohol, thus allowing everyone to get in on the fun that can be had when trying to sling a ball into a cup!
