The following steps must be taken in order to construct a chest from scratch:

1. Amass a total of three Wood Blocks in your inventory. There is no relevance in the type of wood that it is (Oak Wood, Jungle Wood, etc.).

2. Build a total of 12 wooden planks out of wood. The first thing you’ll need to do in order to turn one Wood Block into four Wood Planks is to put it into a crafting grid that’s two by two.

3. Construct a workbench specifically for your hobby. In each of the squares on the crafting grid that is 2×2, position a plank so that it faces down.

4. You can gain access to the 3×3 crafting grid by interacting with the Crafting Table that you’ve set up on the ground  earlier in the game. Depending on the type of platform you’re using to play, the following list of control  options could be employed to help you achieve your objective:
