FAQs
Does YouTube charge for deleting videos?
No, not in that sense at all. Indirectly, you will not earn credit for the views, interactions, or minutes watched that were related with the video that you have removed from your account (s).
Does deleting YouTube videos remove views?
Does removing content from YouTube damage your channel in any way? Absolutely, it will. Especially in the case where you don’t have a lot of videos uploaded to your channel and the one you want to delete has a lot of views. Because the video is no longer available, not only will your daily views decrease, but the views on your other videos may also decrease.
Does deleting video hurt your channel?
The initial impact of your channel is diminished as a result. Because of the importance of first impressions, if you delete a significant portion of your video history and data, new visitors to your channel may see a less impressive version of your channel in comparison to those of your competitors. Keep in mind that this simply displays the total number of likes, views, and videos that have been uploaded.
Can I watch my own YouTube video to get 4000 watch hours?
According to YouTube’s requirements, in order to participate in the YouTube Partner Program, you must have accumulated 4,000 view hours over the course of the preceding year and have 1,000 subscribers (YPP). When you have reached that point, you are eligible to submit an application for the YPP. If your application is accepted, you will then be able to begin displaying advertisements within your videos.
Why my YouTube views went down?
There are a few of reasons why this can occur: either their video is more recent than yours (because YouTube favours more recent content), or their CTR is higher than yours. Their Watch time is longer than yours is available to them.
What happens if I watch my own YouTube videos?
Not too difficult! If you play your own video, that will count as a view toward your total number of views. Each time a viewer watches your movie more than once, we will consider that to be a new view. (Having said that, YouTube will detect any attempt to game the system by repeatedly refreshing the page in an attempt to circumvent its policies.)
