Life might get in the way of our social media ambitions from time to time. Those instances when you’re typing away on your phone then something unexpected happens and you’re forced to leave the task are undoubtedly familiar to you. Alternatively, you may be in a hurry to write something before leaving for work, but your internet connection drops out in the middle of your message.
A manuscript being lost may be quite inconvenient, especially if it occurs while you are nearly finished with your writing. Returning to the beginning of your thinking process and starting over might be challenging.
However, the good news is that there is a technique to preserve draughts on Facebook in order to prevent them from being lost. However, where exactly are these draughts saved, and how do you go about finding them?

How to Find Facebook Drafts on a PC
1. Facebook Page
How to locate draughts for your Facebook profile when using a computer is as follows:
1. Log in to your Facebook account if you have one.
2. Pages may be found in the navigation menu on the left-hand side of your screen by selecting “Pages.” This should bring up a list of all the pages that you are in charge of.
3. If you’d want to locate draughts from a certain page, choose it.
4. As soon as the website has loaded, navigate to the “Publishing Tools” section of the navigation menu on the left-hand side of the screen. In the ‘Meta Business Suite’ section, you will see the choice.
5. Select “Drafts” from the drop-down menu. You should be able to view a list of all of your draughts at this time.
6. To open a draught, simply click on it. If the document is too lengthy, you will only be able to see a preview of it.
7. You may now make any changes you want to the draught or publish it straight away. You may also set up automatic updates on a schedule.
8. If you still want to save the draft even after editing,
- Click on the button appearing under “News Feed” and then click on the “Share Now” button.
- Click on “Save.” This changes the “Share Now” button to “Save as draft.”
- Click on “Save as Draft.”
2. Personal Profile
When it comes to desktop apps, the Facebook desktop app is unsurpassed. Whether you’re working, shopping, or travelling, you’ll have everything you need to stay connected. Status updates, photo/video posts, and link posts are all available on the Facebook home screen, where you may post updates about what you’re doing and what you’re thinking about using one of three different status types: Status Update, Photo/Video, and Link Post. It’s easy to keep up with all of your latest developments because your News Feed is conveniently located in the sidebar on the left.
Despite its many advantages, the Facebook desktop application falls short when it comes to draught management. For starters, when you are in profile mode, you are not able to save draughts. Your draught can only be retrieved if you do not close or refresh the app while it is open.
Browsers are also of little assistance. For example, if you save a draught of a post while using Chrome, the draught is lost as soon as you reload the page. Then you won’t be able to recover the post.
Are Drafts the Same Thing as Unpublished Posts?
Yes, it is correct. A draught is a post that has been saved but has not yet been published. This method is the most widely utilized to prepare posts and guarantee that they are fully prepared and ready to go when the time comes to post.
If I create a Page draft on the web browser, will it appear on the Meta Business Suite app?
Yes. You may begin a post either online or through the app. Then, as long as you’re connected into the same account on another device, you may take it up where you left off.
