Sandshrew Makes a Slash during Pokémon GO’s March Community Day
Sandshrew will make its way into Pokémon GO’s March Community Day on March 13, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time, according to the game’s official website. Throughout the day, both the Ground-type Sandshrew and the Ice- and Steel-type Alolan Sandshrew will arrive in greater numbers in the wild, as will the Alolan Sandshrew and the Alolan Sandshrew. With a new Unique Research plot, possibilities for Sandslash to learn a special Charged Attack, and special event benefits, you’ll be ready to take on March Community Day like a pro. On Community Day, Incense and Lure Modules will last three hours and Eggs placed in Incubators will hatch in half the time it takes them to do so on a normal day.
It is possible to evolve Sandshrew during the event or up to two hours after it has ended in order to gain a Sandslash that learns a special Charged Attack. Ground-type Sandslash will learn the Dark-type Charged Attack Night Slash, and Alolan Sandslash will learn the Ghost-type Charged Attack Shadow Claw, while Alolan Sandslash will learn the Ghost-type Charged Attack Shadow Claw.
Gritty and Glacial, a Community Day-exclusive Special Research tale, will be available for purchase through the Pokémon GO in-game shop for US$1.00 (or the corresponding pricing tier in your local currency). For those of you who want additional Poké Balls to catch more Sandshrew throughout the day, you may pick up 30 Ultra Balls at no cost while participating in the event in the shop. Trainees with extra PokéCoins can purchase a Community Day Box containing 30 Ultra Balls, three Super Incubators, five Lucky Eggs, and one Elite Charged TM at a cost of 1,280 PokéCoins, which contains a total of 60 Ultra Balls and three Super Incubators.
