Magic Materials
Magic Materials fall into three categories: Liquids, Plants, and Ores. Each one gives a ruler’s empire a unique benefit, such lowering unit expenses. They offer extra bonuses if that ruler has all three materials in a certain category. Below is a summary of every Magic Material and the benefits they offer:

How to Get Magic Materials
Magic Materials are scattered throughout each world created by procedural generation. Realm Traits and Settings cannot be used to increase the quantity of Magic Materials that are already in a realm. Similarly, no Faction Trait influences a ruler’s ability to use Magic Materials.
Identifying a Magic Material is only the initial obstacle. For the monarch to start manufacturing that substance, it needs to be conquered and integrated into their empire. Any province improvement will suffice for annexing. No specific province enhancements exist for obtaining Magic Materials.
You can also exchange Magic Materials with other rulers to obtain them. Any monarch, including players, who possess Magic Materials inside their domain may use diplomacy to exchange those materials with other rulers. But after it’s exchanged, the material will no longer benefit the monarch who gave it up. They have to violate their trade treaty to regain that material.
