Forgotten Tribute Location 1:
The game’s first Forgotten Tribute is one of the simplest to uncover. It may be found in the Sea of Ink region, on the brink of a collapsed bridge. You’ll eventually make your way here as the game progresses, but there are two ways to get here sooner:
- Take the elevator to your left when you get to Profundo Lamento.
- Take the left exit from the top level of Mother of Mothers. A heavy weapon, such as Veredicto, may be required to break down a barrier.
Following this path will bring you to the Sea of Ink and your very first Forgotten Tribute. The search for the Procession of Shadows must now begin. It is initially found in the Choir of Thorns area. To reach the upper-left exit from the first Prie Dieus, travel two screens to the right, then up the vertical screen.
You can access a new part of Profundo Lamento by presenting the Forgotten Tribute to the Procession. This location features an additional Prie Dieus and a Rosary Knot that has been forgotten.
Forgotten Tribute Location 2:
The Sacred Entombments are home to the next Forgotten Tribute, and they require you to have already obtained Veredicto and Sarmiento & Centella to access it. Your first destination should be the expansive region located one screen to the right of the highest Prie Dieus.
The next stage features a challenging platforming section that requires you to use the bell you just struck. Here’s what you need to do:
- Ring the bell in the lower left corner to trigger the appearance of a series of platforms.
- To the right, there is a second bell that must be rung. If you think the platform could disappear, you should jump high into the air. Wait for the second bell to ring and the platforms to reappeare before making any moves to the upper left.
- Sarmiento and Centella are the stops before the next set of platforms.
- The second Forgotten Tribute is located on a ledge that can be accessed by using the mirrors of the floating statues.
Get back to the spot in Profundo Lamento where you last saw the Procession of Shadows with the Forgotten Tribute in hand. Give them the currency, and they’ll transport you to a brand new location—this time, a different section of the Choir of Thorns.
Forgotten Tribute Location 3:
In order to obtain this Forgotten Tribute, you must have progressed fairly far. The Forgotten Tribute can only be found after defeating Odón in the Sunken Cathedral, which is guarded by the Labyrinth of Tides.
To find the enormous maze-like screen to the right, travel all the way to the left of the Labyrinth and down instead of up towards the Severed Tower. The Forgotten Tribute may be found smack dab in the middle of the area, however access to it requires coming in from the right through a little opening.
Come back to the Procession with the tribute in hand. You’ll be taken up the Severed Tower all the way to its pinnacle. To the right of this location is a Cobijada sister, and opening the chest there will grant you access to the Cierzo Altarpiece, which is required for the game’s conclusion.
You can probably tell that the third Forgotten Tribute is the last one to find because the Procession isn’t following you on this mode of transportation.
How to Use Forgotten Tribute
The Forgotten Tribute is not an item that may be utilized in Blasphemous 2 in any direct capacity. Instead, it is intended to be given to a particular NPC that is not a playable character and is known as the Procession of Shadows. This character can be found in the Choir of Thorns, where he operates as a horse carriage driver.
What to Do With the Forgotten Tribute Coins
The ability to ride the Procession of Shadows is unlocked when you acquire Forgotten Tribute coins. This horse propelled carriage takes you to several spots that are otherwise inaccessible to you in the game. Here are some of the places you can ride the carriage to:
- The Thorn Choir sings Profundo Lamento.
- Deep Sorrow for the Thorn Chorus.
- In the Severed Tower, we have the Choir of Thorns. A Cobijada lurks in this area.
Above is a screenshot of what your map will look like if you have a coin and travel to the chamber where the carriage is located. Get in touch with the rider by visiting his quarters. When prompted, choose Yes in order to bestow upon him a single Forgotten Tribute. The next step is to transfer you to the new location.
When you get off the carriage, go back to the same room you left it in. Bonus Marks of Martyrdom prizes can be found in this section. Return to each room and collect a Mark of Martyrdom from the altar in which the carriage was previously parked for a total of six.
