The Season of Blood expansion for Diablo 4 added the final boss Duriel, but summoning and fighting him requires two new items. What is the Mucus Slick Egg Used For?

The drop rate for Uber Uniques is so low that they are among the most elusive things in the game. The likelihood of finding one is so minimal that they are rarely included in best-in-slot lists when creating a class. In this case, it’s time to start target farming.

Several new bosses, with the potential to drop unique Uber items, were added in Season of Blood. Duriel, King of Maggots, must have two Mucus Slick Eggs and two Shards of Agony to be summoned. You take these items to the Pestilent Altar in Kehjistan’s Gasping Crevasse dungeon to invoke Duriel.

How to Get Mucus Slick Eggs

Finding Mucus Slick Eggs in Diablo 4 might be a challenge. To summon the Echo of Varshan, you must not only defeat the World Tier 3 boss, but also collect additional artifacts. To begin, then:

1. Freeing the fourth global tier. If you’re on World Tier 3, completing the final dungeon, Fallen Temple, will let you advance to the next difficulty level. From now on, play at the World Tier 4 setting.

2. Collect the Bleeding Brain, Charred Leg, Shaking Hand, and Cancerous Heart. You can either slay Grotesque Debtors or complete bounties from the Tree of Whispers. The former can show up in places like bounties, world events, Blood Harvests, and areas with world bosses. If a Debtor is encountered, it must be eliminated or else Grim  Favors must be performed.

3. Get rid of Echo of Varshan by calling him. Visit the Malignant Burrow now, it’s right close to the Tree of Whispers. Bringing one of each body component to the Malignant Altar at the dungeon’s end will call forth Echo of Varshan. He can leave behind Mucus Slick Eggs after he dies.

How to Use Mucus-Slick Eggs

In Diablo 4, Mucus-Slick Eggs and Shards of Agony are required to call upon Duriel, the game’s level 100 final boss. You’ll need two Mucus-Slick Eggs and two Shards of Agony for this. In addition to obtaining the eggs from Varshan, you must also defeat another boss, Grigoire, in order to acquire the Shards of Agony.

Take them with you as you explore the Gaping Crevasse dungeon in southern Kehjinstan. The Pestilent Altar is hidden within this dungeon and must be located. The last boss of the game can be summoned by interacting with the Altar.
