What Are Resonance Interplays in Honkai: Star Rail?
These resonances are only available in Swarm Disaster mode and can be attained by collecting at least three Blessings from your base Path and three more from a different Path that can make an Interplay with the first. When the base resonance is activated, they use it to apply unique effects. For instance, the Hunt + Elation Interplay provides an additional Speed bonus to the entire group.
Since gaining more blessings in Swarm Disaster is less difficult than in standard SU, it’s not hard to start off with an Interplay. Each branch has two possible interactions, and more could be introduced in a future patch.
How To Unlock Path Resonance Interplay
To access route Resonance Interplay in Honkai: Star Rail, players must first collect at least three blessings from their selected route, which will open the first Path Resonance for that path. They must also gain at least three blessings from a different path to activate the Path Resonance Interplay between the two paths.
Even if the blessings of the other specific way are earned before the first resonance of the chosen path is acquired, they will still be activated immediately afterwards.
It’s important to remember that not all possible routes will interact with one another. Instead, there will be only two pathways that each one interacts with. These two route resonances can be unlocked at the same time, and doing so counts as one of the Trail of Pathstrider quests.
All Resonance Interplays
Players of Honkai: Star Rail should focus on collecting the blessings from the correct way because there are only two possible interplays for each path. Fortunately, relevant path blessings will surface more often than others while selecting blessings, making it easier for players to unlock the interplays they want.
The names and consequences of each resonance interplay are displayed when a player clicks on a path and scrolls down along its length. Along with the selected option is the icon representing the corresponding interaction.
While in the map or a domain, players can also view this data for their current journey, allowing them to make more educated decisions about which interactions to pursue. If a player checks their index in Simulated Universe, they can see which resonances in their path interaction are missing.
