How to Add a Stop on Apple Maps
Apps like Apple Maps that provide navigation are absolutely necessary for our hectic lifestyles. In addition, it is not unusual to require directions to more than one site all at the same time. That is why Apple Maps enables you to add stops to any trip, regardless of whether you are travelling by bicycle or automobile. There is only one catch, and that is the fact that you cannot simply add any site as a stop. This is how the process goes.

How to Add a Stop on Apple Maps
When you are getting directions by vehicle or by bicycle, you will only have the option to add additional stops to a trip if you choose those modes of transportation. Every other type of navigation simply gives you the option to select one destination.
It is important to keep in mind that when you add a stop, Apple Maps will presume that it is the stop after the one you wish to arrive at next. Although there is currently no ability to rearrange your stops, and you can only queue for one stop at a time, it has been rumoured that these capabilities will be implemented in the near future.
1. Launch Apple Maps and search for a destination; then, using your choice of transportation, begin travelling to the location.
2. Tap the estimated time of arrival that shows at the bottom of your screen as soon as the directions begin to play.
3. When the drop-down menu appears, select “Add a Stop.”
The interesting part is coming up next. You are not at liberty to choose the new location where you would like to halt. Instead, you will be required to choose from one of six categories, which include Dinner, Gas Stations, Coffee, Parking, Convenience Stores, and Banks, before selecting an alternative from a list of nearby suggestions that has been compiled for you.
4. Pick the subcategory and the location that you want to travel to in order to navigate. Both your directions and your estimated time of arrival (ETA) will be updated to reflect your new stop.
5. If you wish to get back to your previous path, you can do so by tapping the blue banner that says “Resume Route” at the very top of the screen.
