How to Combine Photos on iPhone

There isn’t a built-in function for integrating many photographs into a single image in Photos for iOS, but there is another iOS software you may use to get around this limitation. Shortcuts is the name of the feature, and if your iPhone is running iOS 12 or later, you may already have it loaded on your device.

How to Use Shortcuts to Combine Photos

Cuts is one of the official iOS applications from Apple that lets you to conduct activities and automate them, including the merging of two or more photographs. Using these instructions will need you to have the Shortcuts app installed on your iPhone. If you do not already have this programme, you can get it from the App store.

Allowing shared shortcuts is required in order to use the Combine Images shortcut.

1. Select Shortcuts from the Settings menu on your iPhone.

2. Allow Untrusted Shortcuts may be toggled on and off with a single tap.

3. Tap Allow and enter your passcode to confirm.

4. Navigate to the Combine Images shortcut web page in order to have it immediately open in the Shortcuts app when you click on it.

5. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and select Add Untrusted Shortcut from the drop-down menu.

6. To access My Shortcuts, go to the bottom menu and choose it.

7. To start the programme, choose the newly added Combine Images shortcut and press OK.

8. Select the photographs you’d want to merge by tapping them. Every photo you’ve picked will have a blue checkmark appear in the bottom right corner of the image.

9. Add may be found in the upper right corner.

10. By choosing either Chronological or Reverse Chronological, you may choose the order in which you wish the photographs to show.

11. Specify the picture spacing by entering a number and pressing the Done button. You may leave it at 0 if you don’t want any gap between the photos.

12. Choose how you want the photos to be displayed by selecting one of the following display options:

  • combine images horizontally
  • combine images vertically
  • combine images in a grid

13. Your merged photographs will be shown to you in a preview. Done may be found in the top left of the screen.

  • save to camera roll and delete source
  • save to camera
  • edit

15. If you want to combine photos, open the Shortcuts app and tap the Combine Images shortcut to select your photos and follow steps 8 through 14 above.

How to Combine Photos With Pic Stitch

You may make picture and video collages using Pic Stitch, a free third-party software that you can download from the App Store. The Shortcuts app solution outlined above is an excellent option if you prefer not to use it.

1. The Pic Stitch app is available for download from the App Store.

2. Select a picture arrangement style for your merged photographs from the options provided. To locate other kinds, you may browse between the Classic, Fancy, and Trending tabs.

3. To prepare for adding a photo to a layout, tap any portion of the layout.

4. Press the photographs you wish to include, and then tap Done in the top right corner of the screen.

5. Drag and drop a photo into the proper frame in the combined photo arrangement by dragging and dropping the photo.

6. Step five should be repeated for the remaining photographs and frames. By sliding the photo around in the frame, you may change which part of the photo is displayed in the frame.

7. You may either save it to your camera roll or share it immediately to social media using the Save option in the bottom menu of the screen.

Can I combine photos on Android?

Installing the Image Combiner application on your Android device will allow you to combine photographs. To add the photographs you wish to combine, touch Add Picture. Alternatively, hit the hamburger button and select Gallery to navigate to your photos. Select the images you wish to combine by tapping the check box and selecting Combine Images from within the app.
