The side quest known as “Take the Biscuit” has, much to the dismay of a great number of players, proven to be a particularly difficult one to complete. Even though the objective of this mission is not particularly complicated, there is a possibility that you will run into a bug that would prevent you from successfully completing it. Hogsmeade Map West Hogsmeade is where you need to be. Floo Flame, then head north-northeast to the left side of the bridge, and go underneath it. You’ll find a goblin here by the name of Garnuff, and he’ll be standing next to an Eye Chest. Speak to Garnuff about this.
You will hear from Garnuff that his mooncalf, Biscuit, has been stolen by poachers. It is necessary for you to travel to World Map > North Ford Bog > East North Ford Bog. After that, Floo Flame should head in the northeastern direction to the poacher camp.
You can either eliminate all of the trespassers in this region by moving stealthily with Petrificus Totalus or by employing a strategy that combines your strongest spells and standard strikes. Always keep in mind that whenever an adversary raises a shield, it is your responsibility to destroy it by casting a spell of the same colour at them. To further protect yourself from harm, make it a priority to dodge and counterattack whenever you get the chance.
Once the smugglers have been vanquished, you should make your way to the enormous cage in the middle of the camp that is inhabited by mooncalves. In order to release the magical monsters, you will need to use Alohamora on the lock on Level 1 and solve the puzzle associated with the lock. The Mooncalves will disperse, but they won’t travel too far from the poacher camp where they were captured. Make use of Revelio in order to keep track of them.
Keep an attention on the text that appears over the head of each animal so that you can chase the right one. Biscuit is a white female Mooncalf. After you have established the identity of Biscuit, make advantage of Disillusionment to approach the Mooncalf stealthily.
Cast Levioso on Biscuit as soon as you are close enough to do so. If you are quite some distance away from her, take a minute to rapidly approach her and cast Levioso once more to keep her floating in the air. The actual act of capturing her will be less difficult if you get within a closer proximity to her before bringing out the Nab-sack.
At this point, you will need to take out your Nab-sack and push the button that is displayed on the screen in order to successfully catch her.
Go back to Garnuff, who is waiting for you under the bridge in Hogsmeade. After expressing gratitude for your assistance in rescuing Biscuit, he will present you with three choices. You have the option of giving Biscuit back to him, requesting additional prizes for your efforts to save her, or keeping Biscuit for yourself. It seems clear that the right thing to do is to hand over Biscuit without expecting any additional compensation, but ultimately, the decision is yours to make. After you successfully complete the Take the Biscuit task, you will receive the cosmetic Beast Rescuer Robe as well as 180 experience points as your base reward.
