3. Hit the “Mute” button.
4. Using the sliders, select whether you want to silence their Stories or their Posts, and then decide whether you want to mute their Stories or their Posts.
After you have finished using the menu, you can close it and keep your modifications by swiping it all the way down to the very bottom of the screen.
5. If you wish to unmute someone, you need to repeat step 5, but this time you need to turn the sliders off rather than on in order to start viewing their posts again. If you did step 5 correctly, you should now be able to unmute the person.
