How To Send imessages With Effects – Complete Guide

Published

Texting, as we all know, can be a little impersonal at times. Sometimes it’s simply too difficult to express yourself clearly in simple words, and that’s okay. Yes, the Messages app now offers a plethora of features, ranging from the ability to include GIFs to the ability to create personalised avatars. For those who want something more dramatic and eye-catching, fireworks are a great option. That’s where Apple’s unintended consequences come into play.

This tutorial demonstrates how to send iMessages with effects on iOS and iPadOS devices (sorry Mac). However, the effects are only available for iMessages, which means that receivers using Android phones will not be able to view the fascinating animations. Not sure whether the person you’re giving the gift to has Android? It’s important to remember that iMessages have blue bubbles while SMS text messages have green balloons.

Use Bubble effects

Occasionally, you may want to make a point without resorting to emoticons or full-screen animations to make your point clear. It is at this point when the Bubble effects are used. Pretty, Loud, Gentle, and Invisible Ink are the only colours that apply to your text bubble, and they are only available for your text bubble.

Step 1

When you have a new or current message open, type your message in the text area that is shown. You will not be able to view any choices for employing effects until you have done so

Step 2

In the text area, press and hold the Send button for a few seconds. As indicated in the illustration above, it resembles an up arrow.

These effects are highly entertaining, and they feature a variety of interesting animations that splash over the full display screen. Are you attempting to communicate some fantastic news? Share it with the Fireworks effect and watch as a spectacular fireworks display shoots across the screen, fit for a New Year’s Eve celebration. Are you really attempting to make your point? If you send it to Echo, your message will be replicated around 100 times over the screen in response.

Effects like Echo, Spotlight, Balloons and Confetti as well as love and celebration are all available as full-screen effects on the Xbox One.
