What are the Klues in Mortal Kombat 1?
In the Invasions mode of Mortal Kombat 1, “Klees” are unique, hidden puzzles that are placed in specific locations. You will need to uncover each Klue’s mystery in order to solve them, and then you will need to carry out specific activities throughout the match in order to solve them.
How to Solve Klues in Mortal Kombat 1
Each Klue in Mortal Kombat 1’s Invasion mode consists of two phases: deciphering the puzzle and carrying out the order. You’ll need to be familiar with every character’s moves, Fatalities, and Brutalities, making the first section the most challenging.
In the first puzzle, for instance, you are given the clue “ESDORYT TEH DWOLOR.” Now, with a little decoding, you can make out the words “Destroy the World.” This Klue is worthless, though, if you have never utilized Cyrax’s Annihilation Fatality to destroy the planet.
Other prompts are less subtle, such “Toasty!!!,” which just tells you the name of Kameo Scorpion’s Fatality. Still others, like “Flipping Out,” are cryptic and difficult to decipher. The actual carrying out of the plan is usually the least difficult element. It’s as simple as finishing off an opponent with a special move or performing a few more actions during fight.
You shouldn’t have too much trouble here, considering you can over-level all the confrontations in Invasion. In the later stages of Invasion mode, the game required us to use characters we weren’t familiar with in order to conduct particular Fatalities, although this was more of a nuisance than a real challenge.
Your reward will be a secret passage in the Mesa you are currently exploring that leads to a treasure chest. Talismans, consumables, and other items are sometimes randomly dropped from these chests. The seasonal skins are usually stored in the locked chests that need Ornate Keys, rather than the free chests that can be found behind Klues.
