Prince Of Persia: The Lost Crown – How to Beat Kiana
Even though Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown has a variety of interesting biomes and puzzles that will keep you busy for hours, the main boss battles are still the most enjoyable part of the game. This is particularly true as the bosses in the game get more difficult as the game goes on. The Forest Queen is the first real challenge in the game. She switches up the combat by using different attacks at strategic points. This article will teach you how to beat Kiana in Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown.

How to Beat Kiana
It’s crucial to understand Kiana’s assault pattern while facing a boss battle so you can anticipate when to back off. No matter how many potions you have, you will not be able to defeat this boss at higher difficulties if you ignore the dodge times. You can see each step of how to defeat Kiana below:
In the First Phase:
With a dark, charging bite, Kiana leads the battle in a rather conventional manner. Just look out for those vivid red eyes peering out from the background’s darkness, and when you spot them, back off. Please take advantage of the opportunity to hit her hard after her miss. Her next move is a sweeping assault akin to a wolf, followed by a spear throw.
After dodging or jumping to avoid the spear, hop over the wolf and start slicing downward. Watch out for the red, glowing eyes and prevent them. When Kiana uses a sneak attack, the wolf emerges below the earth and fires explosive plants. Prepare to evade as the wind starts to swirl around you and your eyes start to flicker red.
She fires explosive spores; don’t ignore them; dodge them to prevent being stunned. This is important since being shocked exposes you to her most lethal assaults. Parry back or jump over Kiana’s blazing spear to avoid getting hit by the return arc. These patterns persist until the landscape changes to a sharp red and black outline, signalling the start of the second phase.
As phase two soon begins, concentrate on avoiding attacks throughout this changeover. Make sure to avoid her downward blow. She uses quick horizontal sweeps in the remaining motions. When she’s almost touching the ground, jumping over her and sliding under her for the following air sweep is a good idea. To effectively avoid obstacles, switch between jumping and sliding depending on where you are.
In The Second Phase:
Kiana increases her attack intensity and introduces new moves with every phase two. The trademark charging bite is back, this time followed by a spear attack in the form of a V. Once the three spears hit the ground, you will have the chance to attack her. Attack any of the three spear shadows to take advantage of the opportunity and do some serious damage.
Kiana now releases an even more powerful horizontal sweep following the horizontal wolf sweep. Use Shadow of the Simurgh to avoid this second sweep strike. To avoid this lethal move, place a shadow at the beginning of her assault, take a few steps back, and then teleport to that shadow behind her.
The wolf now throws a laser that covers the whole ground in addition to its spear boomerang move. Prioritize jumping off the ground to evade the laser first. To safely land back on the earth, you can dodge in the air, but be on the lookout for Kiana’s spear boomerang, which is returning.
Until the second transition, which returns you to the transition scene, keep making these patterns and using your powers. Focus on avoiding her horizontal attacks and making it through the changeover as this section replicates the previous one.
In The Third Phase:
Although phase three increases the level of aggression, it shouldn’t be too difficult if you are familiar with the earlier phases. A horizontal laser has now been added to the wolf’s biting assault that it launched from the shadows. After avoiding the bite, leap right away to avoid the approaching laser.
When the wolf’s head turns to face the other direction, take advantage of the chance to strike. The wolf now volleys the spear boomerang back to Kiana, which moves over the ground. Leap to the side to stay clear of it. A flying spear strike from the sky follows this volley and can be deflected.
When the yellow blink appears just before impact, take use of it to launch a forceful and elegant counterattack by avoiding or parrying it. There are no differences in this phase other than Kiana tossing more bursting plants to the ground. To win the battle, go back and use these tactics.
