How to Solve the Up and Down Puzzle
The first step in solving this puzzle from The Talos Principle 2 is to use the jump pad on the right to get to the block of concrete across the room. Turn off the right fan and exit the building.
Locate the red button in front of the blue barrier and attach the fan to the red button to open the barrier. You can now enter the previously inaccessible location by grabbing the adjacent Inverter and trading it in for the Hexahedron.
To discover the jump pad again, you must go back to the puzzle’s origin. To move the fan to the top of the concrete block, you must first retrieve it from the preceding barrier. You can get to the block by jumping on the pad you built in advance. Fasten the fan to the rightmost jumping platform.
To get across the room, utilize the Hexahedron on your left as a springboard. You’ll eventually reach a little ledge where there’s a Connector. Just drop down by exchanging your Hexahedron for a Connector.
To reach the concrete block, use the first jump pad as a springboard. Take a look around from the corner, then pick out the two receivers. The Connector should be placed so that it may connect to both of them.
Take the neighboring fan apart and set it so that it points at the red button below the block. This will release the blue barrier. You can get the Inverter by retrieving the other fan from the area near the first jumping pad.
Connect the Inverter to the blue receiver and the RGB Converter at the mapped-out location. This should unlock the barrier housing the Progress Wheel.
